Real are now aiming to force Mbappe's hand, having reportedly set a mid-January deadline for the 25-year-old to make a final decision on his future. PSG are expecting another big offer from the Spanish giants in the coming days, and according to , they have already "drawn up budgets and plans" in preparation for the potential departure of their star forward.

The report adds that PSG are still eager for Mbappe to stay put and they haven't given up hope of tying him to another new contract, although they won't be pressured into overpaying.
